Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Woohoo is a search and discovery tool. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the site and how we treat it. We've tried to keep it short and readable.
What we collect
- Search queries. When you search, your query is sent to our servers so we can fetch results, news, stock charts, and other modules for you.
- Basic usage data. Like most sites, our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
- Local preferences. Your theme choice (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
What we don't do
- We don't require an account, and we don't ask for personal details.
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't build advertising profiles from your searches.
Third-party services
To put results together, Woohoo sends requests to third-party providers — including web search, news, financial-data, and movie/TV APIs. Those providers receive the query needed to answer your request and are governed by their own privacy policies. We link out to external sites in results; once you click through, that site's policies apply.
Cookies
Woohoo does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Any storage we use is limited to keeping your in-browser preferences (like theme) working.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
